May 25, 2007 – Good Start to the Holiday Weekend

Hours before Friday night’s Heartland Unplugged, we were all wondering who would show up. We’d heard that some of our regulars, like Jim, Carolyn and Dale wouldn’t be there because of one of the festivals starting up. We wondered if we would have a good turnout. Well it didn’t take long to overcome that fear. Musicians started showing up a little after six and there was a steady stream for the next hour and a half. It was a great turnout and we all had a terrific night.

April 27, 2007

Friday had a slightly smaller turnout due to April showers threatening. Even with the smaller crowd, we had a fun-filled evening of great music. Once again we saw some new faces (and some new instruments). Speaking of which, has anyone been over for the grand opening of Musician's Friend Outlet Store. I know they moved to somewhere around the instersection of 291 and 210 hiways. They were offering some good discounts this weekend, but I needed to stay away. I'm not buying any new instruments....at least for now. Be sure to attend the next Heartland Unplugged. It will be Friday night, May 25th.
